
Bouvry Exports is the number one exporter of exotic red meats in North America. We are hiring a Quality Assurance Technician to join our team. We provide full training and all PPE’s. You provide your own vehicle, a great work ethic and the ability to work as a team in a fast-paced environment. Our plant is located 1.5 Km’s east of Fort Macleod only 30 minutes from Lethbridge or Claresholm!!

Compensation & Hours:
*$18-21 an hour, depending on experience
*2 shifts – morning (5:30am – 2:00pm) and afternoon (3:00pm – 11:30pm)
*Typically Monday thru Friday and every other Saturday

*Occasionally overtime

Position Summary:
*Perform GMP and product checks (SOPs) daily
*Conduct sampling of finished product and raw materials, submit samples to microbiology lab for testing and follow-up on any non-conforming results.
*Conduct pre-operational inspection
*Perform individual projects/tasks as assigned.
*Data entry and maintenance of department records.
*Conduct internal audits in accordance with schedules
*Identify areas of improving processes related to HACCP
*Comply with company policies, procedure and safety requirements
Required Qualifications:
*Computer knowledge and ability to work with various programs (Microsoft, Excel & Word) to create written documents/letters of response, spreadsheets, reports, forms/logs for recording of data
*Organizational skills and strong ability to multi-task. Ability to establish priorities in multiple areas
*Must be able to perform under pressure and adhere to deadlines
*Strong communication skills (both verbal & written)
*Detailed oriented analytical thinker
*Strong sense of teamwork and ability to work with diverse group of individuals including upper management and the ability to develop positive working relationships
*Knowledge of regulatory requirements, Standard Operating Procedures & Good Manufacturing Practice
